Jeremy Renner has shared an image from his hospital bed as he spoke out for the first time since his horrific snow plowing accident.
The Marvel actor has thanked fans for their ‘kind words’two days after he was seriously injured in an accident near his US home.
Jeremy was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after suffering ‘blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries’ in an accident near the Mount Rose Highway, which links Lake Tahoe and south Reno, straddling the Nevada-California border.
In a shot from his hospital bed, the Hawkeye star was seen with a bruised eye and red scrapes down his cheek as he smiled.
He was wearing a hospital gown and had an oxygen tube attached to his nose.
He wrote: ‘Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏.
‘Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all. [SIC].’
The actor suffered critical injuries in the January 1 incident.
