Bayern Munich make decision over sacking Thomas Tuchel before Arsenal showdown
Bayern Munich have no plans to sack Thomas Tuchel ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League showdown against Arsenal despite Saturday’s humiliating defeat against Heidenheim.
The former Chelsea manager surrendered the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen last week after a demoralising home defeat against Borussia Dortmund.
Worse was to follow this afternoon, however, as the soon to be deposed champions threw away a 2-0 lead and in the process lost to a Bundesliga side enjoying their maiden top flight season for the first time in 24 years.
Tuchel announced his intention to leave Bayern at the end of the season over a month ago, but despite the increasingly desperate looking situation Bayern will not be making any rash decisions prior to their visit to north London.
