Wimbledon school crash: Arrested woman re-bailed A woman, 46, who was arrested in connection with the car crash at a Wimbledon school – in which two children were killed – has been re-bailed until September, the Met says.  Two eight-year-old girls – Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad – died after a Land Rover crashed through the school fence and into the school on 6 July. Several people were taken to hospital including a seven-month-old girl. All have since been discharged according to police. The investigation is ongoing. Extra hospital beds made available for winter – NHS England Health bosses in England announce an extra 5,000 hospital beds this winter to support the NHS. During the busiest time of the year, nearly 100,000 permanent beds will be available, a 5% increase from current levels. Climate change: 40C summers will be normal in the UK, Met Office says  The Met Office has said the record-breaking heat the UK experienced in 2022 will be regarded as a cool year by the end of this century.  A report from the Met Office shows that last year was “extraordinary” with a heatwave pushing the UK over 40C for the first-ever time.
