The Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, through the General Directorate of Business, launches the “Do business in Portugal” program, with the aim of supporting companies in their internationalization, which will provide support to 15 interested companies in accessing the cross-border market.
Investment and financing needs
The program will first carry out a diagnosis of the cross-border approach of the participating companies, identifying the strengths, weaknesses and investment and financing needs.
Subsequently, personalized advice will be provided to implement an action plan tailored to each company and that includes actions in key areas such as marketing and commercialization, cross-border taxation, opening of new facilities, hiring of workers, entities and sources of financing, etc
It will also offer different training sessions specialising in key resources and concepts in cross-border business models and sources of financing.
To which is added an investment in small businesses to access day to facilitate direct contact with public or private investment sources that can support access to the cross-border market.

This program is developed within the framework of the RED PAE TRANSFRONTERIZA project, a cross-border cooperation project, co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Program (POCTEP) 2021-2027.
