With its opening, circulation is recovered on the 47.3 kilometers of roads cut off by floods.

In a visit to these repair works of the viaduct over the Poyo ravine in the aforementioned CV-36, far from the inhabited areas, the Valencian president pointed out that this viaduct “will mean restoring traffic on the 18 damaged roads of the Generalitat Valenciana in record time.”
Mazón has maintained that work has been done “without rest, with all the technical and human teams” available within the framework of an already executed investment of 12 million euros within a global package of 100 million euros for those 18 roads and 49 other actions. on local roads in 25 affected municipalities.
In the case of the premises, they are roads, walkways and bridges in Albal, Alcàsser, Aldaia, Bugarra, Calles, Cheste, Chera, Chiva, Gestalgar, Godelleta, Loriguilla, Macastre, Massanassa, Montserrat, Pedralba, Picassent, Requena, Siete Aguas , Sinarcas, Sot de Chera and Torrent while in Algemesí, Beniparrell, Buñol and Catarroja the responsibility for the works has been divided between the autonomous administration and the state.
“You cannot go faster and you cannot be more effective to recover this traffic that will help in a very special way not only to the mobility of people but also to companies and industrial estates, which is essential to establish employment, establishing the industry, establishing employment and maintaining our way of life,” said the head of the Consell.
In terms of industry and industrial estates, Mazón demanded that the Government of Spain ensure that the “network” mechanism for labor flexibility “arrives as soon as possible and not only for Ford but also for the entire auxiliary automobile industry, especially in the affected areas.”
“Time is passing and this ‘network’ mechanism of labor flexibility has still not been answered” despite the fact that it is “fundamental to ensuring employment and industrial activity.”
In this way, he said that he will continue to demand “that as soon as possible the Government responds to this labor mechanism that Ford needs but that the Valencian automobile industry needs especially,” he stressed, “in the industrial zones of the affected areas.”
In another order of things, Mazón has reported that in Paiporta, today the Generalitat Valenciana has transported 60,000 kilograms of food, water and essential materials, which is now 20 million kilos that, through the autonomous government , are moving to the affected populations.
For her part, the mayor of Torrent, Amparo Folgado, has described the imminent restoration of the CV-36 highway as “good news” because it is a “necessary infrastructure” that has been recovered “in less than a month” after the “major damage” from the great flood.
The mayor has asked the neighbors for “caution” and “patience” in the use of a bypass that is part of the reconstruction phase of the area for the benefit of the neighbors and, above all, the business network in the area.
