It seems our porn tastes have aged like fine wine during 2023 with Golden Age content becoming Pornhubs biggest sex trend for the year.
Mature porn has grown exponentially in popularity, with it being the second most popular category on Pornhub for men overall. It’s also the fifth most popular category for women.
But we aren’t just talking about folks in their fourties or fifties here. Pornhub also noted an increase in the searches for the term ‘granny’ by 132% this year.
This includes terms like ‘granny cougar’, ‘bbw granny’ and ‘sexy granny’ (if you’re wondering what bbw refers to, it means big, beautiful women).
GILF (granny I’d like to f**k) was searched for 168% more than last year, while ‘hot GILF’, ‘GILF anal’ and other terms were even more popular.

For those of us attracted to women, the MILF category gained one spot this year to become the fifth most viewed category in the world. In the US it even became the second most popular search ahead of Hentai (2022 most searched term).
We’re even more obsessed with this fetish in Britain though, with ‘mature British’ growing in popularity by 751%. The mature category is also our third most watched and us Brits are 55% more likely to watch it compared to other countries.
In 2023 alone, the Mature category grew by 69% (wink wink) in popularity worldwide, and when it comes to specific searches to satisfy our individual tastes, the word ‘mature’ was searched for 70% more than the previous year.
This includes terms like ‘mature cougar’, ‘mature anal’ and ‘mature amateur’.

DILF (dad I’d like to f**k) was searched for 71% more this year while ‘daddy’ searched increased by 27%.
The most popular DILF searches included ‘hot DILF’, ‘DILF solo’ and ‘muscle DILF’.
But why is the DILF type so attractive? Sex and relationships psychologist Natalie Cawley previously told Metro.co.uk that the cause is rooted deeper than we think.
Natalie said: ‘The desire for those in power is deeply rooted in our psyche. In evolutionary terms someone in a position of power is seen as someone with resources and abilities that will create viable offspring and therefore we are driven to form an attachment with them.
‘The attraction to power will also be based on an individual’s early attachment relationships. If one had a parent (particularly the opposite sex parent) who held a position of power in a nurturing, containing and protective manner the may be more likely to be attracted to such qualities in a mate.’
On PornhubGay this fetish is also shared, with ‘Daddy’ being the fifth most popular category and ‘Mature’ moving up the list by six spots this year too.
Elsewhere, sex trends that have gained popularity this year include shallowing, sploshing and the giantess kink.
