Ariana Grande has sent us all into meltdown with her latest post, teasing that her new album is almost upon us.

The Everyday singer, who is currently dating SpongeBob SquarePants actor Ethan Slater, last released a record in 2020, meaning we’ve been waiting a few years for another release.

To be fair, the 30-year-old has been busy in that time, filming for the upcoming cinema adaptation of Wicked, as well as launching her R.E.M beauty line.

She recently confirmed that she had returned to the studio to record new music, which could be here very soon.

Taking to Instagram, the Sam & Cat actress shared a round-up with fans, showing off a selection of polaroids, beauty products and musical moments – with the caption, ‘See you next year’.

In a video on the very last slide, Ariana could be seen lying down on a sofa under a comfy blanket, in fits of giggles.

‘Tell me exactly how you’re feeling,’ an unnamed man questioned from behind the camera. ‘Is this almost the last day of this album?’

‘I’m so tired,’ she said through uncontrollable laughter. ‘I’m so happy and grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons. The idea of moving is impossible.’

Although Ethan was noticeably absent from the dump, fans were living for the tiny glimpse into Ari’s 2023, including multiple uploads from the studio.

‘Throwing up can’t wait,’ a follower cheered in the comments section.

One predicted: ‘The world is not ready for what’s coming!!!’

‘Proud is an understatement,’ an Instagram user celebrated.

Another remarked: ‘We (as in the universe) are screaming so loud.’

As a commenter added: ‘Ari, we’re loosing our minds over here. Xoxo [sic].’

    Honestly, hard same.

Ariana has had a rollercoaster 12 months, after announcing her split from husband Dalton Gomez – two years after they walked down the aisle together.

The Scream Queens actress filed for divorce in September, with court documents listing their date of separation as February 20.

The paperwork was finalized the following month, with the former couple both moving on.

The Thank U, Next star has since started dating Ethan, after they became close on the set of Wicked.

Shortly after meeting, Ethan submitted paperwork to end his marriage to wife Lilly Jay, who recently welcomed their first child together.

Despite the backlash from many, the co-stars forged ahead with their romance, and were recently pictured publicly on a rare date night.
