Austin Butler hung out with Ashley Tisdale’s daughter Jupiter on Saturday and the photographic evidence is too pure for this world.
Austin, 31, and 38-year-old High School Musical star Ashley are best pals and have been for more than ten years.
But sadly, Austin wasn’t around when she welcomed her little girl in 2021 because he was away filming Elvis, although doting mum Ashley’s latest snap proves they’ve wasted no time bonding.
Austin could be seen splashing around in a swimming pool with little Jupiter over the weekend, and Ashley captioned the snap: ‘Spent the day with Uncle Austin.’
Not only are Austin and Ashley besties, but late last year they discovered they’re also distantly related.
Appearing on Ancestry’s YouTube series 2 Lies & A Leaf, Ashley was stunned to learn that Austin is her tenth cousin once removed.

‘Austin and I always say that we’re like fraternal twins born very far apart because he’s much younger and we always had that connection,’ she said at the time.
Meanwhile, Austin was recently confirmed as being among the 399 artists and executives invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
If all invitees accept, the Academy’s total membership will rise to 10,817 members, with 9,375 eligible to vote for the 96th Oscars, scheduled for 10 March 2024.

This year’s class reflects a more diverse composition of members, with 40% of them women and 34% belonging to underrepresented communities and 52% from 51 countries and territories outside the United States.
Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang said last month: ‘The Academy is proud to welcome these artists and professionals into our membership.
‘They represent extraordinary global talent across cinematic disciplines and have made a vital impact on the arts and sciences of motion pictures and on movie fans worldwide.’
