Charlie has gone too far (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Darren Osborne’s (Ashley Taylor Dawson) life is hanging in the balance in Hollyoaks after Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) accidentally knocked into him while trying to steal a teacher’s car.
Charlie’s anxiety was triggered after the truth about how he’d cheated on Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip) with Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) was revealed on prom night, just prior to them taking to the stage to perform in the band.
Darren was on hand to offer his son some words of encouragement and advice but, despite his recommendation to stay away, Charlie was adamant that he wasn’t going to let anyone else down as he headed straight to the hall for the performance.
Shing Lin, however, couldn’t go through with the gig, leaving the stage in tears, while Charlie proceeded to play the drums, receiving a round of applause from his fellow school mates, much to his joy.
The teen desperately tried to make things right with Shing Lin, who wasn’t interested as she grabbed the brown of fruit punch and poured it over his head, humiliating him in front of everyone.

Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), meanwhile, was concerned about Charlie in the aftermath of the incident, tracking him down in the park, recommending that he distract himself with a mischievous plot as he revealed that he’d stolen a teacher’s car keys from the staff room.
Charlie grinned with glee, as the duo raced to the car park of the school and started the engine of the respective motor.
Darren, however, happened to exiting the school when he caught the teens mid-theft and thus he raced towards the car, hoping to talk them out of their plot.

Dillin urged Charlie to swiftly drive and get out of dodge but, in doing so, Charlie accidentally backed the vehicle into Darren, who was left in a serious way as a result.
Charlie, horrified, hopped out of the car to check on his dad, who was unconscious with cuts and bruises on his face.
Will Darren be okay? And will Charlie and Dillon get into trouble over what they’ve done?
