This Morning had a very unexpected guest as Barry Keoghan crashed a chaotic interview with Alison Hammond.
Alison, who delights viewers on the ITV daytime show alongside Dermot O’Leary every Friday, was among the stars on Sunday night as she joined Richard E Grant to host the Baftas.
She came on Monday’s episode of This Morning to talk Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield through all the gossip but things took a turn when the Banshees of Inisherin star decided to make an impromptu appearance.
‘Who is this?! Is that Barry Keoghan, winner of supporting – I don’t know what he’s doing here. I ain’t got a clue what he’s doing here,’ Alison laughed as he pulled faces and flashed a peace sign to the camera.
Phil and Holly were baffled by the unexpected turn of events, and immediately asked the presenter if she was still out an a Baftas after party.
‘Well… maybe,’ she cackled, before jokingly shouting after Barry: ‘Get back in the bedroom!’

She added: ‘I’ll tell you a secret. I’m actually going over to Ireland, and so is Barry. We’re at the airport.’
Holly and Phil wondered if they were jetting off on holiday together as Alison joked that they decided to fly off after meeting for the first time at the glitzy ceremony the night before.

She insisted the chance airport hangout was a ‘coincidence’ when they realised they were both heading to Barry’s homeland.
Reflecting on her Baftas night as a whole, she admitted it ‘was such a dreamy night’ as she found herself brushing shoulders with literal royalty with Prince William and Kate Middleton in the audience.
‘Honestly, it does feel like a dream. All I can remember is, I was obviously presenting and I remember looking down and seeing William and Kate beaming, looking up at me. And Richard E Grant was just an absolute dream,’ she gushed.
‘Then after the show, we spoke to Kate and William and they enjoyed the show. I just couldn’t believe it – you know when they’re saying your name, and you’re just like, you know who I am?!’
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV 1.
