Love Island star Finley Tapp has shared an unexpected connection to one of this year’s islanders, farmer and TikTok star Will Young.
Will is set to enter the villa for this year’s winter series, which sees Maya Jama take over as host from Laura Whitmore, alongside make-up artist Lana Jenkins and the villa’s first ever partially sighted contestant Ron Hall.
The first and only winter series of Love Island aired back in 2020, and saw Paige Turley and Finn walk away with the cash prize, having found love.
Three years later, the pair are still together and keen to watch a whole new batch of sexy singletons enter the villa.
But one seems to be familiar to Finn already.
In an exclusive chat with Metro.co.uk, the 23-year-old revealed: ‘I had a pal of mine message me recently saying, “Oh do you remember Will from football.”
‘And apparently he was at the academy when I was there, the year above me.’

Finn continued: ‘I mean, I’m talking, he was in under 10s and I was like nine, so I couldn’t really remember but my pal messaged me saying that he remembers him.’
With that small shared link, Finn admitted that he’s now ‘rooting’ for the Tiktok farmer.
‘I like Will as well,’ Paige added to us.
She continued: ‘I’ve seen his TikTok videos that I clicked on after, I didn’t know, I’m not much of a TikTok girl.’

Will’s on the hunt for love (Picture: ITV)
While Paige may not have known much about him, Will is known to millions of fans for his vlogs of his daily life on a Buckinghamshire farm.
Will shares content of himself sheering sheep, rescuing animals from muddy puddles, sowing seeds, and building pig pens – all while shirtless and bronzed from his outdoorsy lifestyle.
Posting a behind-the-scenes look at his rural home, the internet star has his followers swooning over him from morning until night.

The viral sensation landed in South Africa ahead of the ITV fixture’s kick-off on January 16 and swapped his signature Barbour jacket for board shorts and a bed in the iconic villa.
Speaking of his imminent appearance on the nation’s TV screens, the budding reality star said: ‘Having grown up on a farm, it’s been quite difficult juggling relationships and work.
