A new multiplayer mode has been made available in Modern Warfare 2, and here’s how it works…
Season 01 Reloaded, the midseason update for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, has already added a suite of new features and items to the games.
From the new Shipment map to the first Special Ops Raid for the campaign mode, much of the update’s new content has already gone live in the games… and yet still there’s more.
Amongst other things, Bounty mode has been added to Modern Warfare 2, which has never been featured in any Call Of Duty game before.
The Bounty mode went live late on Wednesday, January 4, along with more content for Warzone 2, some of which is expected to be released by the end of the week.
What is Bounty mode in Modern Warfare 2?
The new mode is like Team Deathmatch, however the players with the most kills on each team will become high value targets (HVTs).
If you’re good enough to become one, then your position will be displayed on the map, making it difficult to run and hide from enemies.
On the flipside, if you manage to kill a HVT opponent, you’ll earn double points for your team.
The HVTs will change throughout the game, meaning you could be next if you start building up a good enough killstreak.
Through a post on Twitter, Raven Software also announced that new Warzone 2 playlists are live both for the battle royale and the DMZ modes.
Raven Software also noted the Loadout price in battle royale trios has been lowered to $24,000, though, as another player pointed out, that’s still the same price as before.
Bruh that’s the same price https://t.co/6UKZVmwo2A

More: Call of Duty
A third person playlist for duos matches was also made available, though it seems to have gone under players’ radar.
At the moment, many players are more concerned with the rampant shadow-banning that’s been happening in Warzone 2, due to the system seemingly flagging well-performing players as hackers.
