Will the fractured couple stray? (Picture: BBC)
EastEnders has suggested that struggling couple Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) may cheat on each other.
With Jack’s teen daughter Amy (Ellie Dadd) in crisis, Denise is struggling to keep things steady with him.
After a failed attempt to reignite passion and retain some normality, the couple get closer and closer apart.
‘Jack and Denise’s marriage is pushed to breaking point by Amy’s heartbreaking situation,’ an EastEnders spokesperson explained.
‘Their differing views on coping with their daughter’s self-harming create a chasm between them that could damage their marriage beyond repair.
‘It’s not as if Jack or Denise are short of people who want to provide them with a shoulder to cry on, either.’
Now what does THAT mean?
Next week, we will see Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) offer support to Denise, and the chancer then goes to plant a kiss on her.
Will Denise be tempted to reciprocate, after yet another angry showdown with Jack?
Meanwhile, Jack has previously had a kiss with Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf). While he rejected her, it left Denise uncomfortable about the spark that remains between them.
Could this be who Jack could seek solace with? Or might it be closer to home?
Maybe, show boss Chris Clenshaw told Inside Soap.
