Too Hot To Handle star Kayla Richart has revealed she had to warn her ‘super traditional’ family not to watch the Netflix programme, after a steamy scene with Seb Melrose.
The pair became one of the strongest from the earliest days on the island, and came second place to Nick Kici and Jawahir Khalifa.
Despite forming a strong connection, Seb, 24, and Kayla, 22, broke their fair share of rules, including in the shower.
After having sex in the shower, the pair were forced to reveal the truth to their co-stars, and ultimately lost the group over $65,000 (£54,000) leaving the final price pot at $89,000 (£73,000).
And despite that becoming one of the standout moments of the series, Kayla had to prepare herself for the chance her family might watch the steamy scene.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Kayla said: ‘So I came home [after filming the show] and I was like, “literally nobody watch the show. I’m glad you guys are all proud of me. Don’t watch the show.”
‘Because I didn’t know how they would cut or show our “sex scene” but they actually showed it in a really good way and they didn’t really show that much, which was like a sigh of relief for me.’
Kayla added: ‘My dad’s not going to watch it anyway – he’s an older guy, who’s super traditional. He’s great, and I love him, and he’s not going to watch it, which is a blessing for me which is totally fine.

‘But I know my stepmom is going to watch it and my auntie already watched it, and she loves it, my whole family is just like, “You are just you on the show, your faces, your attitude, your kindness, it all shows through and you’re just authentically you. And that’s all we could ask for. We just didn’t want you to go on a show and act like a completely different person.”‘
As well as their intense physical connection, the pair grew emotionally closer on the show, but, Seb admitted it hasn’t all been ‘sunshine and rainbows’ since they left.

He told us: ‘The struggle and the tears are almost worth it, and it makes it a better story in the future.’
‘We’re working on things right now,’ he added, confirming that after a break-up earlier in the year, they’re back together again.
