A business owner whose shop faces a supermarket on top of a hill is fed up with cars crashing into it.
Four vehicles have smashed into Anita De-Vine’s Baildon Interiors in Bradford over the years.
The most recent crash happened earlier this month when a car veered into the shop front, smashing windows and damaging her furniture and ornaments.
Builders are busy at work trying to fix the window, but Anita has had enough.
‘It is ridiculous to have parking at the top of the ramp which leads onto a busy road. It is only a matter of time before someone is hurt,’ she said.
‘I appreciate that the responsibility lies with the driver to apply their handbrake, but it keeps happening.
‘They (the Co-op) seem blissfully unaware of the reoccurring handbrake fails that happen on many occasions.
‘It really is a serious accident waiting to happen. I hope they take notice before a pedestrian is hit by one of these cars.’

Anita has called upon Co-op to take responsibility and block the three spaces at the top of the ramp so cars can no longer park there.
Instead, staff have put up a sign reminding people to apply their handbrakes when parking.
It reads: ‘Please ensure your handbrake is applied’.
When the Co-op were approached for comment they confirmed they are aware of the feedback.
A Bradford Council spokesperson said they will contact store bosses to discuss the situation.
