Rapper Offset has admitted he’s in a ‘dark place’ after the death of cousin and bandmate Takeoff.
The musician, real name Kirshnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed in November at the age of 28, while attending a private party in Houston.
It’s thought he was an innocent bystander and was playing dice with friends at a bowling alley when the violence kicked off.
Takeoff was a member of celebrated rap group Migos, and bandmate Offset shared his heartbreak at the time of his death, writing that he was ‘shattered.’
Now the rapper, 30, says he is still in a ‘dark place.’
Straightenin star Offset took to Twitter on Saturday where he wrote simply: ‘In a dark place,’ along with a middle finger emoji.

Another said they were ‘so sorry’ he was battling grief, adding: ‘Try and use the happy memories you have to get you through.
‘He was a lovely man. Help his legacy shine.’
Offset’s wife, fellow acclaimed musician Cardi B, previously opened up about their loss in a now-deleted voice vote, admitting she felt ‘so hopeless’ trying to comfort her partner.
‘No lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, trying to make him to crack a smile,’ the Bodak Yellow rapper, 30, said in the audio, which was picked up by the Neighborhood Talk.

‘Dear Take, the pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say but I can’t find the words,’ he began in the message.

‘I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare.
‘Every time you would see me, you didn’t give me a dap you gave me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh one last time. Smoke one one last time. Perform one last time.
‘I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.
