Whether you enjoy the hustle and bustle of cities like London or Manchester, or the quaint country life, England has a lot to offer.
Deciding where to settle and buy a home is no simple task, and there are a whole host of factors to consider.
But with the cost of living crisis only worsening, one may have to reconsider some of the most beautiful places in the country.
North Norfolk, East Anglia, and Torridge, in the north of Devon, have tied for the first place in the ranking for the most picturesque spots.
Settling down in North Norfolk costs a pretty penny, with an average house price at £329,191.
Meanwhile, a new home in Torridge will cost slightly less, at about £305,507.
Both areas are famous for its rugged coastlines, with miles of beaches and seaside towns and villages.

Sevenoaks had the most expensive house prices in the top 10 list, averaging at £526,757
Malvern Hills ranks the fourth most beautiful place in the country
Another Devon area comes in third place, which means that each of the top three picturesque areas are located in the south.
An average house price in West Devon sits at just above £307,000.
The survey by Money.co.uk did not examine basic costs like transport, utilities and mortgages.
Instead, it focused on the area of national parks, listed buildings and fly-tipping incidents to list the 50 most beautiful places to live in England.
Also featured in the top 10 are Malvern Hills, in Worcestershire, Sevenoakes, in Kent, and Wealden, in East Sussex.

Cannock Chase, in Staffordshire, which ranks 43rd on the list, boasts the lowest average house price – just over £213,000.
It is followed by North East Derbyshire, ranked at 33rd place, with a house costing under £230,000.
Rutland, in east Midlands, boasts the most parks in the entire country.
It is the smallest county in England with just two towns but there are over 4.8 million square metres of parks within 1,000m.
The average house price in the area is above £375,000.
