I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left in hysterics after Babatúndé Aléshé was sorely tempted to fart on Matt Hancock’s seat… but resisted at the final moment.
On tonight’s episode of the ITV programme, the former health secretary joined Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver and Lioness Jill Scott for a luxury barbecue on the beach.
The brief absence of the politician from camp meant that his throne – reserved for the elected leader of the group – was left unattended.
So comedian Babatúndé came up with an innovative idea – to leave an almighty fart on the red chair.
After telling fellow comic Seann Walsh ‘I have a fart in me’, Seann tried to egg him on, telling him: ‘Go on!’
‘Nah, I’m not gonna,’ Babatúndé backtracked, while Seann remarked: ‘Are you mad?!’

The Celebrity Gogglebox star then simply broke wind where he was standing, leaving the camp leader’s throne untarnished.
Seann was astonished that Babatúndé didn’t hold his nerve, telling him: ‘I can’t believe you didn’t do that. I would have 100% done that.’
Over in the Bush Telegraph, Babatúndé teased just how big a fart he would have let out on the seat, exclaiming: ‘I would have let it go!’
Viewers at home were highly amused, with one tweeting: ‘Babatúndé wanting to fart on Matt Hancock’s chair is hilarious.’
However, another expressed their astonishment that he ‘passed up’ on the opportunity.
‘Oh my god Baba, little bit of a missed opportunity there,’ someone else remarked.
It was recently reported that Hancock could have a good chance of staying in the jungle ahead of the first elimination.
Bookmaker BritishGambler.co.uk claimed that Boy George is the current favourite to be the first star sent home, stating: ‘Over the last few days, Boy George hasn’t done much to help himself in terms of impressing the public, who in the end, decides who stays and who goes.’
They continued: ‘As for Matt Hancock, this has become very political (excuse the pun). Whilst he’s currently in 4th place to win the show, he’s also in 4th to be the first one to be eliminated as more and more people are getting fed up with this new “celebrity” status.’
I’m A Celebrity returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
