A man has been named as the prime suspect in his own brother’s murder.
Clifton Waite, known as Colton, was found with serious stab wounds in a house in Birmingham on Monday night.
Paramedics tried to save the 56-year-old, but he was too badly hurt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers have now launched a manhunt for Clifton’s 59-year-old brother Lenville Waite – also known as Tony.
Several locals said the murder has made them ‘too scared’ to leave their homes.
One elderly neighbour said: ‘This used to be a nice area where people looked out for one another but it’s really gone to the dogs in the last few years.
‘I’ve lived her a long time and for the first time in my life I’m actually scared to leave the house at night.’
A mum said: ‘As a mum of two small children, this is a real worry to me. I just hope the police catch the person responsible.’
If you do see Waite, do not approach him. Call 999 instead.
