Rapper Aaron Carter has died at the age of 34, according to reports from US media.
The musician was reportedly found unresponsive at his house in Lancaster, California on Saturday, with TMZ stating that he was found in his bathtub.
Law enforcement sources told the publication that 911 was called at 11am, with homicide detectives then dispatched to the scene.
There is not thought to be any information or evidence of foul play, as it’s standard procedure for homicide detectives to investigate such death scenes.
Photos obtained by TMZ show sheriffs standing outside the artist’s home alongside paramedics, the property surrounded with caution tape.
Carter burst onto the scene in the 1990s as a pop star, releasing his debut album in 1997 when he was just nine years of age.

His first album was a major success, selling a million copies, but his second record, Aaron’s Party, sold three million copies, catapulting Carter to fame.
The star became a regular on Nickelodeon and also toured with the Backstreet Boys back in the day, as his older brother, Nick, was part of the band.
Carter later transitioned into rap music, with his songs including Reload the Wesson, and I’m All About You.
He is survived by his baby son, Prince, whom he shares fiancée Melanie Martin, but it was reported earlier this year that her mother had custody of the young child after Carter checked back into rehab.

Tributes have poured in for the US star, with fans remembering him for his ‘swagger’ and impact on popular culture.
‘I’m gutted to hear about Aaron Carter. Every millennial girl remembers his iconic guest appearance on Lizzie McGuire. Aaron’s party was a jam. Good memories but he was also a brother and a son. That matters the most. RIP,’ one fan tweeted.
