Could a return to Corrie be on the cards? (Pictures: ITV / Helen Flanagan)
Helen Flanagan played the role of Rosie Webster in Coronation Street on and off between 2000 and 2018, before finally leaving to have her third child with fiancé Scott Sinclair.
The pair reportedly split up after Helen’s engagement ring broke, which she saw as a bad omen.
Following their split, Helen is more than willing to return to the ITV soap and is said to have discussed plans to come back late next year.
During her relationship with footballer Scott, his career required them to be based in different locations around the country, meaning that a return to Coronation Street wasn’t possible.

‘Helen’s talking about plans to return – not this year, but maybe late next year. Bosses have made it clear they’d welcome her back and she sees the soap cast as family. She misses them, and playing Rosie, a lot,’ a source told The Sun.
Metro.co.uk have contacted Coronation Street spokespersons and Helen’s representatives for comment.
During her time on the soap, Rosie Webster was involved in numerous high-profile storylines, most notably one that saw her groomed and kidnapped by murderer John Stape.
With John Stape back in the centre of conversation on the cobbles, with a book about him set to be published, it would make sense for Rosie to make a return.
