Mikel Arteta insists he is happy at Arsenal despite Barcelona considering him as a future option at the Camp Nou.

The Spaniard emerged from Barcelona’s famed youth academy before leaving the club as a teenager. Having led Arsenal to their best ever start to the season, reports in Spain this week have named him as a possible successor to Xavi later down the line.

Arteta however brushed off the speculation while also praising the ‘phenomenal’ Xavi for his work so far at the Catalan giants.
