IRAN OIL TANKER: GRACE 1 RELEASED
BBC News reports, Gibraltar has freed the Iranian oil tanker- Grace 1. The tanker was captured last month on suspicion of violating EU sanctions.
Written assurances from Iran said the ship will not discharge its cargo in Syria. Grace 1 was stopped by Royal Marines last month triggering a standoff with Tehran.
The US issued a last-minute desperate plea to stop the release. Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif condemned Washington’s attempt to stop the release. Accusing the Trump administration of attempted “piracy.”

GOVERNMENT WORKER STABBED OUTSIDE THE HOME OFFICE
The Guardian says a man stabbed outside the Home Office on Thursday was a government employee. Scotland Yard confirmed the man in his 60s with knife injuries is a civil servant at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
Adding, they are keeping an open mind over the motive for the attack.
His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing, the specialist force said.
A 29-year-old man was detained outside St John’s Church near to the attack. And arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of CS spray.
On social media, pictures and videos show the items left at the scene, including a rucksack and a box containing a live ferret.

NORA QUOIRIN: ‘DARK UNANSWERED QUESTIONS’
The Mirror reports the family of Nora Quoirin believes she may have been taken despite the autopsy revealing Nora died of starvation and stress and there were no signs of foul play.
The family have not ruled out pursuing a criminal probe. They are waiting on DNA and toxicology results before deciding. The family’s lawyer said they “cannot understand how Nora could leave by herself” because of her disabilities. And has urged “caution” over the post-mortem results.
“The family still finds it difficult to understand that she would have gone into the jungle on her own. They are concerned she did not leave on her own.” He said.
