Purah sports a fresh look in Tears Of The Kingdom (pic: Nintendo)
A Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom player somehow managed to get Purah to join them for a trip through the clouds atop their improvised airplane.
As soon as you touch down in Hyrule, get ready to reunite with the beloved genius, Purah, as she’s back in Tears Of The Kingdom, along a few other familiar faces.
She’s a recurring character you’ll encounter, often found hanging out around Lookout Landing, and she plays a vital role in Link’s quest to find Princess Zelda – often providing him with handy gadgets, like the Purah Pad, and dispensing crucial information.
While Purah is adored by fans, she’s not a fighter, meaning your interactions with her are limited to pre-determined dialogue options within the game. However, one resourceful Zelda player was determined to embark on a solo adventure with her and show her the world…
With the help of a makeshift airplane powered by Zonai devices, player ZeldaCastle9 managed to get Purah on board and take her on an exhilarating trip through the skies.
As soon as Zelda fans stumbled upon the video on Reddit, they were immediately reminded of the scene in Aladdin where he takes Princess Jasmine on a romantic carpet ride.
Judging from the video, Purah doesn’t seem to mind her temporary escape from Lookout Landing, to take a closer look at the newly introduced sky islands.
With her rejuvenated appearance, despite being 124 years old Purah has become a fan favourite in Tears Of The Kingdom, winning over fans who remember her as a small child in Breath Of The Wild.
The player’s ability to take Purah on this adventure is likely made possible by a recent glitch that enables you to construct structures around non-playable characters using Link’s Ultrahand ability.
Some crafty players have even taken advantage of this glitch to cleverly get rid of some characters who annoy them.
Meanwhile, others who are all about the combat side of the game have been using Ultrahand to construct war machines, aiming to crush the Demon King and his minions in style.
