Youssoufa Moukoko is close to signing a new contract with Borussia Dortmund despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
The 18-year-old is one of the most sought-after young strikers in Europe with a number of clubs jostling for his signature.
The Germany international, who already has over 50 appearances for Dortmund to his name, has just six months left on his current deal at the Westfalenstadion and can leave on a free transfer next summer.
Chelsea have been hopeful of signing Moukoko, with reports suggesting the Blues were considering a January swoop for the teenager.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool are also firmly in the race, according to a recent report from The Times.
But with ensuring his development does not stall a key priority for the player, Ruhr Nachrichten report Dortmund are now close to reaching an agreement in principle over a new contract.
While the deal is not expected to be finalised this month, the report claims a ‘positive decision’ is set to be reached with Chelsea not making serious efforts to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Graham Potter’s side lost Armando Broja to injury this week with the Albania international ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.
The Blues have already looked elsewhere to bolster their options up front with the club closing in on a deal for Molde striker David Datro Fofana.
Reports on Thursday claimed Chelsea have agreed a fee that will eventually be worth over €10million for the 19-year-old, who has scored 21 goals and registered seven assists this season. Personal terms are still to be agreed with the Ivorian.
Manchester United meanwhile are desperate to add a striker to their squad in January following Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit.
The club retain interest in Netherlands star Cody Gakpo with Erik ten Hag discussing a move with the forward in the summer. PSV Eindhoven are expecting a club record bid if they are to allow him to leave mid-season, however.
Benfica starlet Goncalo Ramos and Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix are also on their radar.
