Jake Paul is flying to Saudi Arabia to support his brother Logan at WWE Crown Jewel, but Paul Heyman has roasted his choice of fight.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer looks all but confirmed to appear at Saturday’s huge stadium show in Riyadh as his sibling fights Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a high stakes main event.
On Friday, he revealed he’s on his way to Saudi Arabia as he shared a picture of his boarding card, and Roman’s special counsel Heyman didn’t miss an opportunity to take a cheap shot.
Sharing a screenshot of the post on Twitter, Heyman wrote: ‘@JakePaul is flying COMMERCIAL? Tsk Tsk! He really DOES need me as #SpecialCounsel!’
Logan is already in Riyadh for this weekend’s show, sharing a video of himself on Instagram speaking Saudi and wearing a traditional headdress.
He said: ‘Tomorrow, WWE’s gonna be crazy. Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns, for the title – let’s go!’

Last weekend, Jake was celebrating a win over Anderson Silva, and now it’s Logan’s turn in the spotlight as he finds himself in the main event for just his third ever match in WWE.
He’s been training with the likes of Shane ‘The Hurricane’ Helms and even Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, but he goes into the bout as an underdog up against the so-called Tribal Chief.

It looks like he’ll have Jake for backup, while Logan recently spoke about the possibility of the brothers teaming up in WWE and told Fox’s Ryan Satin: ‘Truthfully, I think it’s an inevitable. I mean, I’m biased but I think what we’re doing is incredibly exciting. At least for me personally, it is incredibly exciting.’
And despite Heyman’s playful dig on Twitter today, WWE’s Wiseman admitted this week he actually wanted to bring Logan into the fold much earlier – as far back as 2020, when he was serving as the company’s executive director of Raw.
‘When I was executive director of Raw, I had pitched Logan Paul to the then-chairman Vince McMahon to get involved in a scenario that would ultimately culminate in a SummerSlam or Survivor Series or Royal Rumble match,’ he told WWE’s After The Bell podcast.
‘This is a no-brainer to the Tribal Chief and a no-brainer to the Special Counsel. This is global publicity, a chance to take Logan Paul’s audience and put those eyeballs on WWE, and more importantly on Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and the Bloodline.
‘The desire is, to retain as many eyeballs as possible because we’re trying to seduce them on our brand of entertainment.’
Crown Jewel airs Saturday (November 5) at 4pm on the WWE Network.
