Bray Wyatt is battling his demons (Picture: WWE)
Bray Wyatt didn’t take kindly to a WWE crew member interrupting him on SmackDown and he threatened to smash him against a wall.
The former world champion showed the fractured sides of his personality again, as he pointed out he was trying to face his demons when the mysterious Uncle Howdy cut him off last week.
Wyatt insisted it’s hard for him to open up about his feelings like that, and having someone interrupted him only makes things harder.
Cue the unfortunate backstage crew member who did just that and found himself on the wrong end of a verbal takedown from the former Firefly Fun House host, who admitted he was struggling to control his dark urges.
He admitted: ‘All I want to do is take your head and smash it against that cement wall.’
Bray also demanded an apology from the crew member and got just that, which helped him calm down before he sent him on his way without following through on his threat.
Throughout the segment, there were some interruptions with Wyatt’s new moth logo, and his character’s arc continues to intrigue, with the journey proving to be fascinating despite the destination unclear.
We do know the enigmatic star’s next appearance will be at Crown Jewel in Saud Arabia this evening, although fans will have to wait and see exactly what he’ll be doing on the show in Riyadh.
Elsewhere on SmackDown, GUNTHER beat Rey Mysterio in a fantastic main event to retain the Intercontinental Title, while the likes of Liv Morgan, LA Knight and Shayna Baszler all picked up big wins.
As for Crown Jewel, the main event will see Roman Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against an unlikely challenger in Logan Paul, who will have his brother Jake in his corner to offset the Bloodline.
Speaking of the Tribal Chief’s family, The Usos will also be in action as they put their tag team titles on the line against The Brawling Brutes, and Bayley gets a shot at Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in a Last Woman Standing Match.
WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1. Watch Crown Jewel on Saturday (November 5) at 4pm on the WWE Network.
