The storyline rivalry between WWE legend Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio took another turn as police were called on Christmas Eve.
The iconic masked luchador has been embroiled in an intense storyline feud with his real life son for the past few months, with Dom and his Judgment Day ally Rhea Ripley attacking Rey at the family home on Thanksgiving.
Now, the story has taken another dramatic turn after Dominik was arrested at his parents’ house over the festive period after another attempted home invasion.
In a video shared by WWE online, the villainous duo can be seen arriving in Santa hats as they ring the bell and try to get into the home, but Rey and his wife Angie immediately attempted to get them to leave.
At one point, Angie went to slap her upstart son, but Rhea caught her right hand, only to get smacked with the left.
A police car pulled into the drive with Dom put in handcuffs and taken away as Rhea was left distraught, and her on-screen man shouted that he wouldn’t ‘make it in jail’.

It’s another brilliant twist in the on screen storyline, particularly with Dominik currently on Raw with Rhea and their Judgment Day teammates Damien Priest and Finn Balor, while Rey is doing his own thing on SmackDown.
It will also tide fans over with intriguing developments over the festive period, particularly with the Boxing Day episode of Raw being a highlight show rather than a live edition with new content.
Back on Thanksgiving, Rhea and Dom turned up at his family home, with Angie and Rey each facing the unwelcome guests.
Rey could be seen adjusting his mask as he opened the door and wondered why his son – who has followed in his footsteps as a wrestler – had shown up, as he insisted he was simply home for the holidays.
As the legendary star pleaded tried to shut the door, Rhea pushed it against him, sending Rey – who was wearing a protective boot after a recent battle with GUNTHER on SmackDown – to the ground, while Dom jumped straight onto the attack.
It will be intriguing to see if there are any further developments over the holidays.
WWE Raw (Mondays) and SmackDown (Fridays) air weekly at 1am on BT Sport 1.
