Metro – World’s anger at aid convoy strike: Intolerable

The Metro writes Rishi Sunak has praised the work of three British men who were killed in an Israeli airstrike – and told Benjamin Netanyahu that their deaths were intolerable. Photographs of killed Britons John Chapman, James Henderson and James Kirby, who had been working as part of World Central Kitchen’s security team, also feature.

Seven aid workers died after Israeli airstrikes hit the World Central Kitchen (WCK) charity’s food aid trucks. The halting of aid has only heightened fears of a manmade famine in the area – with some desperate Gazans having to eat grass and animal feed to survive.
