Amazon warehouse workers killed during tornado identified as Jeff Bezos slammed for hosting party after tragedy
The Metro says An Amazon delivery center in Illinois was in the path of destruction when tornadoes tore through six states on Friday night, leaving at least 64 dead in Kentucky, including six at the warehouse.
Authorities stopped searching for survivors over the weekend, instead focusing on recovery missions. At the same time, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos celebrated his latest group of space tourists to touch down after a 10-minute flight to space landed in Texas.
The billionaire celebrated his successful space mission as rescue operations continued in Edwardsville, where two walls and part of the warehouse’s roof collapsed late Friday, trapping employees inside.
