ISRAEL TO BAN TWO US CONGRESSWOMEN
France 24 reports, on Thursday Israel, said it will bar two US congresswomen who support the Palestinian-led boycott movement. The women will not be allowed to visit the country – a decision announced after Trump tweeted it would “show great weakness” to allow them in.
France 24 suggests the move marked Israel’s foray into America’s deeply polarised politics. And shows the escalation of Israel’s campaign against the international boycott movement.
Just before the announcement, President Trump tweeted: “They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds.” He went on to call the two congresswomen “a disgrace.”

JEFFERY EPSTEIN: AUTOPSY SHOWS BROKEN NECK
Arab News says according to sources the results of Jeffery Epstein’s autopsy showed his neck had been broken in several places. Epstein died in an apparent suicide in his cell awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. One of the law enforcement sources said there is no evidence of foul play but cautioned the investigation is in its early stages.
Epstein was found dead in his jail cell on Saturday. The circumstances of his death are still under investigation. It is unknown when a report of the autopsy will be made public.
However, New Jersey medical examiner, Zhongxue Hua said a neck fracture was atypical in a suicide. “It’s unusual to have a neck fracture,” Hua said. “But the first question to address is when did it occur.”
If Epstein’s neck fracture was fresh then “at a minimum, it’s a very unusual suicide.” Hua said.

‘HOLLYWOOD RIPPER’ FOUND GUILTY OF DOUBLE MURDER
CNN reports Michael Gargiulo dubbed the “Hollywood Ripper” has been found guilty of the murder of two women and the attempted murder of another. The Californian jury found Gargiulo guilty after months of testimony and evidence and four days of deliberations. Sentencing is set to begin on Tuesday.
The “Hollywood Ripper” faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole. The 43-year-old was charged with the 2008 murders of Ashley Ellerin and Maria Bruno and the attempted murder of Michelle Murphy.
“…All of the attacks occurred at night. All of the victims suffered multiple stab wounds…Each of the victims was attacked in or around her home and in close proximity of Mr Gargiulo.” the prosecutor said.
Ashton Kutcher, along with scores of other witnesses, took the stand. Kutcher went to Ellerin’s home the night she was killed. He had invited her to a Grammy after-party and when she didn’t show he went to her house. Kutcher looked through the window and saw what he thought was spilt wine. The prosecution believes it was blood. Ellerin was stabbed 47 times.
