Argentina take on Mexico with the two-time World Cup winners battling to stay in the competition.

Lionel Messi got off to a goal-scoring start in their group opener but fell to a 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia in one of the biggest shocks in the competition’s history.

Another defeat tonight will see one of the competition favourites suffer a humiliating group stage exit with Mexico looking for their first win following a goalless draw with Poland in their opener.

Argentina will be eliminated if they suffer another defeat.
