FA confirms key Women’s Super League dates for 2023/24 season
The Football Association (FA) has confirmed a number of key dates for the 2023/24 Women’s Super League calendar.
Chelsea took the title for the 2022/23 season – their sixth WSL title.
The 2023 Women’s World Cup kicks off July 20 in Australia and New Zealand. The competition comes to a close on August 20, meaning the 2023/24 WSL season will begin later than usual, with the opening weekend’s fixtures taking place between Friday, September 29 and Sunday, October 1.
The final round of fixtures are scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, May 18, 2024.
Details have also been confirmed for the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup Final date, which take place on the weekend of Saturday 30 March.
The Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final will take place on the weekend of Saturday 11 May 2024.
Additionally, the Women’s Championship season will kick off on the weekend of Saturday, August 26 and conclude on the weekend of Saturday, April 27 2024.
