A woman who was allegedly being abducted by a fake Uber driver helped save herself after passing a note to a customer at a gas station.

The unidentified woman was at a Chevron gas station in Seligman, Arizona, when she slipped a small square yellow note to another customer on Tuesday.

It ‘gave her name and asked the customer to call 911 saying she had been kidnapped,’ wrote the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.

‘The note included a description of the van the woman was in, a phone number, and said that they were going to Kingman and Las Vegas.’

That customer called 911 immediately and told responding deputies that the van had gone westbound on I-40.

The sheriff’s office and the Department of Public Safety were able to find the van at Mile Post 116 on the interstate.

Authorities detained the driver, Jacob Wilhoit, 41, without incident, and rescued the victim.
