A woman was assaulted for simply shutting a bus window down because it was raining, the Metropolitan Police Service has said.
The woman, 28, was riding the 168 bus in Camden, north London, on the morning of November 23 when she was shoved by a man.
She was travelling between 9:15 and 10am from Eversholt Street heading towards Kingsway, the force said.
But a row erupted between her and another rider when she tried to close a window due to the rain outside.
The victim was verbally abused by the man before he pushed her.
She did not need hospital treatment, the police said in a statement released today.
Police have launched an appeal to track down a man investigators from the Roads and Transport Policing Command need to speak to in connection to the incident.

Crimes on buses have dropped over the years, according to figures from TfL, though the Met does not record specific ‘bus crimes’ in its database.
On the bus network, the number of crimes per million journeys dropped by 30% between 2010/11 and 2018/19.
Though thefts have sharply risen, shooting up by a third in 2019.
CCTV footage on buses is only stored for a few days before it is deleted, meaning there is only a brief window for it to be requested as evidence.
Though hate crimes taking place on buses have ballooned since the first lockdown in 2020, the Borehamwood & Elstree Times reported.
Even though the number of bus rides remained low following the easing of restrictions, worrying figures released by the Green Party show number of recorded hate crimes on London buses jumped from 43 in May to 115 in June.
