As Strictly Come Dancing viewers tune in to watch tonight’s episode, they might be left wondering… where are Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima?
Last weekend after performing at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, the couple were saved by fans in the public vote, soaring through to the following week despite being second bottom on the leaderboard.
While they were excited to take on their next routine, it was revealed earlier in the week that they would be missing out on one week of the competition, in the hope that they’ll be able to return next Saturday.
Numerous fans have sent Hear-Say singer and Coronation Street star Kym well-wishes amid the hope that she’ll be back.
So why are the dancing duo a no-show tonight?
Why aren’t Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima on Strictly Come Dancing this week?
In a statement released by a spokesperson for the BBC this week, it was revealed that Kym, 46, tested positive for coronvirus.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the broadcaster said: ‘Kym Marsh has tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, Kym and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.’
They added that the guidance surrounding positive coronavirus cases means that if Kym is negative by the following week, she should be able to come back.
‘Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week,’ they said.
Who’s left in the running in this year’s series?
Aside from Kym and Graziano, there are six more couples still in the running hoping they’ll win the Glitterball Trophy at the end of this year’s competition.
They are: Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe; Fleur East and Vito Coppola; Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał; Helen Skelton and Gorka Márquez; Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu; and Will Mellor and Nancy Xu.

Who’s been the top of the leaderboard the most during the 2022 series?
The couple with the most number one spots on the leaderboard under their belts are the stellar Hamza and Jowita, who have so far soared to the top four times.
Tyler West and Dianne Buswell, who were eliminated last week, were the highest-scoring couple twice, the same number of times as Molly and Carlos, and Fleur and Vito.
Ellie and Johannes have reached the number one spot once, as have Helen and Gorka, and Will and Nancy.
So who’s your choice to win the series? Have your say!
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
