Who sings the John Lewis Christmas advert 2022?
This year’s John Lewis Christmas ad features a rendition of the pop-punk favourite All The Small Things.
The version in the advert is by American singer and actor Mike Geier, who is best known for performing as his alter ego, the melancholy clown Puddles Pity Party.
Geier, 58, has been performing in bands since the 90s – including Elvis Presley tribute band Kingsized – but sprung to prominence as Puddles in 2013, after recording a cover of Lorde’s Royals with the musical collective Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox.

That version has had over 32million views on YouTube, with Lorde saying that it was her favourite cover of the track.
Geier has since toured across as Puddles – including playing dates in the UK, US, Australia and Belgium – as well as bringing the sad clown to the America’s Got Talent stage in 2017.
In that instance Puddles – who initially wowed the judges with a cover of Sia’s Chandelier – reached the quarter-finals, only for his cover of Royals to get the dreaded buzzer from Simon Cowell.
More recently the character has appeared in residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, as well as appearing in an episode of Roseanne spin-off The Conners.

The track – taken from the band’s album Enema Of The State – has sold over 1.2m copies in the UK, being certified as double platinum – while it was one of the biggest-selling singles in the US in 2000, shifting over half a million copies.
Blink 182 – featuring members Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker – have sold over 55m albums across the world, with their other hits including What’s My Age Again?, The Rock Show, I Miss You, Feeling This and Always.

The band’s reunion with the full line-up comes amid exciting times for its members: Travis recently married reality star Kourtney Kardashian, and Mark received the all-clear from cancer.
The bassist announced he had been diagnosed with stage four lymphoma in June 2021, and months later revealed he had been given the all-clear.
