It’s that time of year again, when we all gather around the telly to watch an eight-year-old brutally torture two burglars attempting to rob his house, after he was abandoned by his family.
It’s more festive than it sounds.
Home Alone season is truly upon us, with pretty much everyone including the Christmas classic on their list of films to watch in December.
And no, we’re not talking about the 2021 reboot Home Sweet Home Alone.
So, where can you watch the original Home Alone this Christmas?

Sadly, Netflix is not streaming Home Alone this year.

However, the movie is available to watch on Disney Plus, with the streaming service costing £7.99 a month.

As an added bonus, the platform also hosts sequels Home Alone 2: Lost In New York and Home Alone 3, and Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House.
Home Sweet Home Alone, is also available to stream on Disney Plus.
Home Alone 2 is a direct sequel, with Kevin accidentally boarding the wrong plane as his family head to Florida, and ending up in the Big Apple.
After tricking his way into a room at the Plaza Hotel – bumping into Donald Trump on the way – Kevin is forced to confront the Wet Bandits once again, after they break out of jail.
While Home Alone 3 is written and produced by John Hughes, it is the first film not to be directed by Chris Columbus or to star Macaulay Culkin.
Alex D Linz plays Alex Pruitt, who has to defend his home from a band of spies working for a North Korean terrorist organisation, who are after a microchip that has accidentally ended up in Alex’s home.
Home Alone 4: Taking Back The House, is a TV movie starring Mike Weinberg as Kevin, who spends Christmas at his dad’s new girlfriend Natalie’s mansion, which ends up being the target of a robbery by the two original burglars.
The first Home Alone movie is also available to purchase in the UK on Youtube, Amazon Prime, Google Play Store and Apple TV for an average of £3.50.
