The promise of love (and £50,000) is in the air as a brand new cast of Love Islanders are heading into the villa.
While fans are more than aware of how Love Island works by now, this series will introduce a few new elements, starting with a brand-new host. Maya Jama will replace Laura Whitmore.
Another change this year is the location – the sunny shores of Majorca are being replaced for a place ripe for winter sun.

This series of Love Island is filmed in South Africa.
More specifically, the islanders will be looking for love in the 25-acre estate of Ludus Magnus in Franschhoek, near Cape Town.

Ludus Magnus is named after Rome’s ancient gladiator school.
Fans have already been treated to a first look at the villa before the 10 first hopefuls go in.
The villa includes a huge swimming pool at the heart of the outside area, positioned near an outside kitchen area.
There’s also a gym, of course, and the hideaway returns for those, shall we say, more intimate moments.
Subtlety isn’t a strong suit, so a neon ‘Get Sexy’ sign hanging above the bed makes it clear what this room is designed for.
All in all, the impressive estate boasts of 17 bedrooms, 400m running track, state-of-the-art rugby field, and a zip line. According to insiders, ITV will be forking out £8,000 a day to have exclusive use of the eco-retreat.
The show has filmed in South Africa before. During the first Winter Love Island, in 2020, the show went to Cape Town, a break from their usual destination in Majorca.
The first two seasons were filmed in Santanyi, and seasons 3-5 and 7-8 in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.
