The cost of living affects everyone across the country, and the government has implemented schemes to aid those that need help the most.
There is support in place for individuals who receive benefit payments, including cost of living payments throughout 2023.
These payments -announced by Chancellor Jeremy Hunt in his Autumn statement – amount to up to £900 and will apply to more than eight million eligible, means-tested people, according to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Another support package that has been promised is the £150 disability cost of living payment – but when is it expected and who is eligible to receive it?
