The Spring Term is well underway and, before you know it, it’ll be time for the next school holidays.
Pupils will get a break from their studies is February half term, so kids don’t have too long to wait until they can swap their pens and pencils for footballs and sleepovers for a whole week.
Half term dates can vary across different UK regions, meaning that kids across the country could all be off at different times.
Here’s all you need to know about which dates February half term falls on in 2023.

In England, Scotland and Wales February half term dates vary, but most schools are off on either February 13-17 or the following week, February 20-24.
For example, most schools in London and Bristol have their half term from February 13-17, while most schools in Manchester have their half term from February 20-24.
In Northern Ireland, all schools have the same days off, and have their mid-term break on February 16 and 17.

After February half term, Easter is the next time that kids will get a substantial amount of time off school.
Again, the Easter holidays vary from school to school, but in England, Scotland and Wales, most schools have two weeks off, from April 3 to April 14.
In Northern Ireland, all schools have their Easter holidays from April 17 to April 21.
