If you’re someone who juggles two phones, you’ll know the struggle of having Whatsapp work on just one.
WhatsApp doesn’t allow you to use the same account on multiple devices but that might be changing.
The messaging platform is rolling out a feature called ‘companion mode’ that will allow users to use the same WhatsApp account on up to four devices at the same time, as reported by WABetaInfo.
However, you’ll be able to use the beta version of this feature only if you’re an Android user. The beta version is available on 2.22.24.18 and has only been rolled out to some users.
With the new feature, when you install WhatsApp on a new phone, an option in the three-dot menu in the upper right corner will allow you to link with another device via a QR code.

Companion mode was first tested in a previous WhatsApp beta, but then it was only available on tablets; now you can add multiple phones as well.
You could already link your WhatsApp to your desktop in addition to your phone but the new update if rolled out widely will make life easier for a lot of us.
