Metro – Weinstein sensation: rape conviction overturned
The Metro leads on the overturning of one of disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein’s rape convictions. A New York appeals court said prosecutors in the pivotal #MeToo case called witnesses whose accusations were not part of the charges against him. The paper points out the disgraced Hollywood mogul will remain in prison. He was separately convicted of rape in LA.
A second front page leads on Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf who is facing a no-confidence motion, backed by the Scottish Greens after he unilaterally ended their power-sharing deal.
