Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has been playing a dangerous game in Coronation Street, but he may soon be set to be caught out as a new spoiler video reveals.
In the most recent instalment of the ITV soap, Stephen got quite the fright when Lou Donahue (Eleanor Howell) revealed that she had found an engraving on the back of a tie pin which made her wonder if it had actually belonged to her deceased husband, Rufus.
Viewers will remember that this tie pin was actually lost by Stephen at the scene of Rufus’ murder, as he drowned him in his swimming pool after lacing his drink with LSD.
With Lou set to report her findings to the police, Stephen takes drastic action next week to cover his tracks.
In the new video, Stephen manages to get into Lou’s hotel room, and begins rooting through her things in a bid to find his missing tie pin.

After searching all the bags he is at a loss, until he spots her jewellery box on the side.
As he opens it, he spots the tie pin and lets out an audible sigh of relief.
However, as he turns to leave, it appears that he is set to be rumbled, as someone opens the door.
