Warm weather is finally here (but get set for a washout summer)
After a damp Bank Holiday Monday and a dismal April, warmer weather is finally here. Well for now, anyway.
Forecasters are predicting a week of warm, dry weather with highs of 24°C in some parts of the UK by the weekend.
And the Met Office said its long-range outlook for the months ahead suggest it’s going to be warmer than usual.
It’s prompted bookmakers to cut odds on this summer being the hottest on record.
