sMothered viewers have been left stunned by one man’s rather too close relationship with his mother-in-law.

The pair, who star on the reality programme featuring some particularly unique mother-child relationships, share cupcakes, show off their choreographed dances, and aren’t fussed about what anyone has to say of their relationship.

Trevor, who is married to The Circle star DeLeesa and shares a child with her, is best friends with his mother-in-law India.

But just like those around them, including his own mother, viewers aren’t too keen on their relationship.

In a teaser for the upcoming series, Trevor and India are seen sharing a cupcake at DeLeesa’s baby shower, while she’s pregnant with their third child, with his own mum telling the camera: ‘That was over the top.’

‘I forget that he really does have a mum,’ India adds in a confessional, sat beside Trevor, before turning to him and saying: ‘Sorry, because I’m your mum.’

DeLeesa is just as unhappy with the relationship, as the series goes on to show her urging India to move out of her home with Trevor.

While most of the attendees at the baby shower are heard ‘aww-ing’ at Trevor and India’s ‘Baby Shake’ dance together, DeLeesa looks less than impressed.

‘I think the relationship they do have is a little weird,’ DeLeesa’s friend also says, before the camera cuts to India almost falling over as she engulfs Trevor in a hug.

DeLeesa then explains her true feelings in a confessional, saying: ‘I could never, in a gazillion years, see one of my daughters act like this with their in-laws.
