Manchester United star Victor Lindelof has refused to answer questions Cristiano Ronaldo’s controversial interview and says he will not speak on the issue.
The 37-year-old stunned the football world with a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan earlier this week.
The main snippets of the interview have already been released but the full 90-minute chat will air tonight and tomorrow.
In the released clips, Ronaldo revealed he had ‘no respect’ for Erik ten Hag, claimed the Glazer family do not care about the club and said certain officials did not believe his reasons for missing the club’s pre-season tour.
Ronaldo’s interview has gone down badly with his team-mates, who have grown tired of his antics so far this season.
However, despite their private feelings, Lindelof was unwilling to reveal his true feelings as he was asked about Ronaldo’s interview while on international duty

Asked about Ronaldo’s interview, Lindelof said: ‘I do not know. I will not answer that question.
‘You get to take the next question. It’s my decision [not to talk about it].’
Lindelof clarified that it was his decision not to give his opinion on the interview, rather than an instruction from the club not to do so.
