Valencian vice president Gan Pampols to PWC and Tragsatec for the recovery plan

The recovery plan announced by the Generalitat Valenciana and that has not yet been reflected in any document will have as main actors the PWC consultant and the state company Tragsatec. Both will jointly receive 4.5 million for consulting and assistance to prepare the road map to face the day after the DANA and try to recover the levels prior to destruction.

According to the contracting platform, the contract with PWC sets an amount of 2.19 million euros with VAT and a period of 10 months for advice, technical assistance and consulting for the elaboration of an economic and social recovery plan of the Community Valencian.

Among the work that the international consultant will have to expressly include a diagnosis of the situation, in addition to the design of the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the plan.

One of the key points that must reveal that plan commissioned to PWC is the “establishment of budgets and sources of financing” to deal with reconstruction. In addition, the consultant will have among her functions to prepare a communication plan.

The case of Tragsatec is similar and the Generalitat has made this parcel or commissioned directly to the state -filial company of the Tragsa group, since having an action of that society is considered “own means.” The Vice Presidency has commissioned support services in the coordination, monitoring, information and analysis of the recovery plan, with a budget of 2.32 million euros and an execution period of twelve months in this case.

As detailed by the Consell spokeswoman, Susana Camarero, after the plenary in which this parcel was reported, Tragsatec will have to contribute to the Generalitat 18 analyst technicians, 4 computer technicians, 2 cartographers and 2 administrative ones for these tasks

The Tragsa Services and Technology subsidiary has also received more than 2 million euros for technical support in the management of regional aid for cars loss by the DANA.
