The Guardian – US orders strikes on Iran-backed militia in revenge for base attack
The Guardian says US defence secretary Lloyd Austin has announced the US will order reprisal strikes against an Iranian-backed militia after an attack on an American base on Sunday.
The paper pictures Abdul Ezedi, who it says is 35 years old and from Newcastle. He is wanted in connection with an alkali attack in Clapham on Wednesday night.
