The Guardian – ‘Famine is setting in’: UN court orders Israel to unblock Gaza aid

The Guardian reports the UN’s top court has ordered Israel to allow unimpeded access to food aid in Gaza.

Famine in Gaza is “setting in”, the paper reports. It quotes from a new United Nations report which warns levels of hunger and starvation are rising in the Strip. It adds to international pressure on Israel to ensure enough aid is able to reach people in Gaza.

The Thames Water crisis and the surprise Easter honours list also make the front page. The honours list has sparked rumours there could be a summer election.
